Help answer this question below.
I love road trips with my husband. He usually does the driving and I read aloud, some novel or interesting book, maybe about where we're going. I've read countless trilogies and more to him over the years. We do this even when just going to the store. Did you know that you can practically finish reading a big book, like one of Terry Goodkind's fantasy novels driving across country one way and then move on to another one of his books for the way home LOL!!! We did that three times :-)
It depends how many others are on the trip. If there are two or three on the back seat then I'd prefer to be in the front passenger seat, but if I'm in the back myself then I'll choose that, as you can stretch out, though if there is music playing quite loudly you do often have to stratch forward and ask the others to repeat themselves a lot.
Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Depends on the trip, who I am with, and the vehicle. If the person knows where they are going and the vehicle is roomy, I am in the back catching some sleep. If they don't know where they are going and there is no room to sleep I have to navigate. If they are not good at taking directions and can't read a map I have to be driving.
We alternate catching z's in the back seat. +5 Icy
I'm so accustomed to being the driver that I actually get a little carsick when I'm in tha back seat. I'd prefer to be in the passenger seat, but I'm usually the one in charge, along with being the most confident driver.
Definitely the driver...do you think I have control issues?

Driver. I get really car sick as a passenger especially if it's a long trip with few stops
Backseat.
It's better because I don't have to be navigator, I don't have to entertain the driver, I can take a nap, put on my headphones and zone out, or join in the front seat convo if I wanted to. +5
I loev to be front seat passenger and look out at everything and keep the conversation going with the driver so they can stay focused and not all asleep!
The front seat passenger,is definitely the most fun u don't need to worry, which means zero nerves, and views r the best:)lol
The driver every time! My fate is in my own hands that way.
The driver because I can listen to what ever I want to plus you don't miss any of the scenery that way.
Naturally, it depends on the chosen vehicle [I've a small collection] and the destination.
But I do love to lie down in the back of my 'land yacht' (a full-sized Ford cargo van with self-customized features, e.g., army cot) reading a magazine havin' a brew twistin' a stick while my current squeeze drives the rig down an interstate highway.

The driver.
The anticipation of planning, and then finally going on a trip makes driving the most interesting part for me.
Strangely enough, actually REACHING the destination always seems a bit anticlimactic. I find myself looking forward to the drive home.
usual passenger but somethimes driver but in passenger u can lean back and relax and also control the radio
The driver. I hate being driven around.
Also suitable would be the front passenger seat as the "navigator," assuming we're sharing driving/navigating duties.
Riding in the back tends to make me motion sick.
On the Motorway, I dont mind driving or front seat passenger.
On town or country roads, I prefer to drive as I cant relax if I have an impatient person driving.I have been hit twice head on in country lanes and on each occasion I had managed to stop but the other driver didnt. It would have been much worse if I was still moving5
I go for the shotgun~~or the front seat passenger as then I control the radio station and can sleep with
my head on *her* lap
when we took the 17 hr long road trip to S Carolina, we let my friends husband drive the entire trip and me and her sat in the back singing stupid little kid songs to pass the time :)
The one who gets to . . . . . .SLEEP! But since my HUSBAND is ALWAYS taking that position . . . . . . I wind-up being the damned DRIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darn..I would Love to be the driver but that is rare. Im the front seat driv..ooops I mean front seat passenger.
really it dnt matter but if dere more dan one person in the back take one of the front seats so u can relax
Driver. Just because. :)
np i travel alot so it helps when u can relax
I prefer to drive the entire way. All I can say is that I trust my driving and that I can not sleep when in a car, so I might as well be the driver. Heck, I just like driving.
Driver<<<is Alpha male.
"Driver" ... otherwise, bringing the booster seat seems a waste.:)
