I read it sometimes, but I usually stick with the New International. The King James is the most beautiful though.
If you mean following the old gramatical rules of the English language I'm able to follow. I have a 1611 KJV where the reading is even more difficult and can follow that too.
I have a KJV of the Bible but I am using the NIV now. It is encouraged to use other versions as cross references.
I prefer the NASV. Its much more accurate to the original languages and still easy to easy.

I don't have to follow it anywhere. It just sits on the bookshelf...
I used the King James Version when I first started studying, but gradually found out several mistakes in it such as leading you to believe that Mark 16:17-18 about handling serpants to prove you believe was part of the original writings. Most modern translations tell you prior to verse 9 that that was added to a later manuscript.
