  • Yes, I was in elementary school choirs.
  • Yes, mother wisely had us join local church choirs so we had to attend weekly practice and Sunday services. Looking back, it was a good thing.
  • My family and I quit going to church when I was younger bacause of all the hypocrits. We figured that we could find our own faith outside of a community of fake ppl. No offence towards u and I am not saying that u r one of those ppl, so no I didn't do choir with the church, but I did in school cause I loved to sing lol
  • I was in a grade 6 or 7 choir and enjoyed it a fair bit. We sang songs like Song Sung Blue. I learned I'm an alto, though a very low alto.   • I got forced (strong-armed by the music nun) into it once in the 8th grade at the Catholic school I attended. It wasn't pretty. And none too melodious either! ;-)
  • I was in the school choir in 7th grade for about two weeks. I joined because I had a crush on girl who was a member. I was a baritone :P
  • City/State boy's choir when I was 5 or 6 Church choir from 9-12 or so. Church folk choir (sing & play guitar) from 6th or 7th grade to Grad School choir in 7th-9th grades Sophomore choir in 10th grade Acappela (main HS) choir 11th-12th Varsity Singers (smaller show choir) 11th-12th (Played rhythm guitar with the latter two, too.) (Began writing my own songs in 9th grade. Had at least one Christmas song a year until college. Mom used them for the family Christmas Cards, our Church choir sang one, I soloed one, and my father and I sang a couple for church, and I sang a couple solo for the Church Holiday dinner.) Why? I like music and could. Simple as that.
