"The National league record for home runs in a postseason game is 7 by the Florida Marlins (4) and the Chicago Cubs (3) on Oct. 7, 2003. The American League record is 7 by the Boston Red Sox (4) and the Tampa Bay Rays (3), on Oct. 11, 2008. Both games were 11 inning games.
There are 8 post season games tied with 6 home runs. The last time it was done in the National League was Chicago (4), Florida (2), on Oct. 8, 2003, and the American league New York (4), Boston (2), on Oct. 16, 2004."
