Anxiety, mood swings, depression and or panic attacks can lead to a "nervous breakdown." Suffers must have one of the following symptoms: delusions, hallucinations, grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior, or disorganized speech. A nervous breakdown is time limited and can last one day to 30 days. As a rule, the quicker the onset, the faster the recovery.

Fear, overwhelming fear, that's the first sign of a breakdown setting in. After a few days, it snaps you, you become awash in several sets of reality detached story lines, you'll spend a few days shifting between them, which will scare the shit out of you because you won't be able to figure out which one is the truth... keep track of these delusions, i guarantee they're representative of what your inner toil is, which you'll need to figure out after you break so you can build yourself up again properly.

Do not be scared, the most dangerous thing about having a nervous breakdown is that people who don't understand will want to commit you, if that happens they'll medicate you without finding out what the problem is and then you'll have to deal with issues about that, betrayal, being forcibly drugged, institutionally imprisoned, etc etc

my best recommendation to you is to go with it, no matter how psychotic someone goes, they usually still maintain their basic survival skills, it's just in western society, if you're not stuffing your face three times a day and obsessively hating your job, people want to stone you.

God bless the people breaking down, no more arrested development ; )

Cheers

this is exactly what i'm worried about. I may have snapped mentally. See recently i've been trying to hook up with this milf from work and i was also using pot heavily for several weeks, as you know pot makes you very receptive. So anyway she made a joke that pissed me off a little bit, i came home after that night and started dwelling on the past and started having doubts about myself and i got so angry that i feel i snapped mentally because ever since that night i havent been the same. so now i feel a little disconnected, is there any way i can heal w/o seeing a shrink?
