Have you been on a flight as a passenger, with a female pilot at the controls? Did it put you off?

    I honestly don't know... I don't even hear the pre-flight announcements anymore. But it wouldn't bother me in the least, and I can't imagine why it would bother anyone.

    Actually, I thought it was pretty cool. What sometimes puts me off is seeing that the captain or first officer is more than 15 years younger than I am! Babyfaced pilots are kinda scary. :-)

    Yes, I've had female pilots and it hasn't bothered me, she has had just as much training so I'm just as ok

    This would not be a concern. female pilots and truck drivers are some of the safest people in the air and on the road.

    I worked an accident involving a piggyback tractor and trailer. i was shocked, when the truck driver exited the cab of the tractor. she was 5 ft. tall and very small. the accident was not her fault, the other driver changed lanes into her rig.

    Its not a mans world anymore. move over men, the women are here and i am glad.

    I can't say whether I have ever had a female pilot, if I have, I didn't find it remarkable enough to remember! It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, although it may make me do a Woop! for feminism...

    Yes, I've had a female pilot twice and it didn't bother me at all. The flights were just the same as any others I've been on and the landings were smoother than some I've experienced.
