Help answer this question below.
Because conservatives question and talk about things. Liberals simply believe whatever they think is not conservative.
Because they are popular. The liberal ones never last.
Just check the subscription numbers for the conservative talk shows on satellite radio compared to liberal talk shows.
It's cause the mainstream media is so liberal and conservatives go to talk radio to be heard and to hear the truth.
Because way right is entertaining. Like driving past an accident, it grabs your attention because you're horrified. School budgets and equal rights are boring. The radical right radio announcers get to talk about hatred, and anti everything issues. There are no bounds they won't violate. It's Jerry Springer style radio. That's entertainment.
It is basic supply and demand. People listen to them. Which is why the government shouldn't get involved. If the more Liberal talk shows were being listened to, there would be more of them.
Probably because the majority of the American public do.
Because most Americans have common sense and left wing ideas are repulsive to them. It does not get any more complicated than that..fortunately. Besides..how long would it take to run out of left wing ideas....20 minutes? Actually it would only take me 3 minutes to cover all of them.
Because the country and therefore the listeners, lean right. There was a liberal talk radio network until a few weeks ago. They blame the economy for their bankruptcy. Interestingly, conservative talk radio doesn't seem to be having a problem with the economy. The big newflash to Air America? No one was listening to you.
Good question considering that the media is often accused of being so liberal.
They are rich enough to take the time to listen to their own crapola. We Demo's have to work for a living.
Much of it has to do with the fact that the majority of the public are right leaning or conservative leaning, the large cities tend to be more liberal but the vast area of the country in between the coasts are more conservative and that is where conservative talk radio shines.
NPR is radically left and they've been around for decades. They don't have many listeners for a reason. It's lame listening to people spew hate against the U.S. every day, which is all liberals know how to do. THey blame whitey for everything and they blame the U.S. for all the world's problems.
