Help answer this question below.
In any country where it is a popular sport. How on earth FIFA decided a few years ago to hold it in a country where it is a minority sport is beyond me.
At the home of football. Britain
In any country that is...
1. Safe
2. Has the facilities to both hold such huge games and to transport the fans around.
At the present time that kind of limits it to Western European countries (UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy or a combination of smaller ones), North American Countries and Brazil and possibly Australia/New Zealand.
It should also be limited to countries that call if by its normal name, FOOTBALL.
Anywhere in the United States.
We are so overdue to host one! LOL

No doubt.

This is the second time in the last 20 odd years they have done it. Remember USA 1998? And tbh, that was a huge success! Although it is quite a bit safer there than in South Africa.

It was USA 1998 that I had in mind. I just don't see the point of holding the World Cup there - at least if it's in a football playing country there will be one set of fans who don't have to spend an arm and a leg on transport costs.

Agreed.
