Niagra Falls. How, in the heck can you be unimpressed by Niagra Falls? Be 15 years of age and drive there for two or three days from Chicago with mom and dad and little brother. I couldn't wait to experience some new things, but my parents did not know about New York City and why it would be phenomenal to stay there instead of a Holiday Inn near the falls. We drove through all the real stuff to see to land at the foot of the falls and stare for about an hour and LEAVE. Underwhelmed. Not by the falls but how deadly mind numbing my parents made this vacation. These people did NOT know how to party, lol.

Thank you. I'm in the mood to really get into it.

That's kinda what I see vacations as too.

But you need to vacation your way to experience the glory of it.

Well, people told us to go to rainforests in Tasmania before going to rainforests in New Zealand, so we wouldn't be disappointed. Well, the rainforests in New Zealand, when compared with those of Tasmania, suck.

Also, Ireland? Wha?

Could just be around here, but Ireland is known for rain, pancakes, beer and leprechauns.

Pancakes!?
Avatar daemonelson Oct, 20 2009 at 09:43 AM
Yes, pancakes. We eat pancakes here (in Australia) and apparently also in Canada, the UK and Ireland on a day called Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday. For some reason it's also a semi Irish-themed thingo.
.
Oh, dear...you're in America...so yeah...pancake day there is referred to as Mardi Gras...

Athough, English and Scottish pancakes kick American pancakes butts! ;)

I'm gunna get crap for this... but Wrigley was disappointing. I'd always heard how awesome it was cause it's an original. It was cool to be there, but they don't keep it up well at all. So it was cool but seemed dirty.

Yeah, I see Ireland every day, seeing as I live here! I wasn't aware it was famous though. It rained here all day today, it's not that good at all. I've been unimpressed by the place since I was born. SOME things are good, but I live in a really borning place so that's the way it is.

You did not go there girl! No, it's ok I forgive you. A very touchy subject with Irish people, if you ever meet one of us you probably shouldn't say that cause they'd probably go mad!

I know, but I figured you'd calm down before you could track me down and fly here and beat me into a pulp.
Avatar Patrick Oct, 20 2009 at 12:45 PM
lol! Yeah, you're right, I've calmed down. We will never be part of England! lol!

It's a nice place to live, but you wouldn't want to visit there.
Avatar hawaii.jake Oct, 20 2009 at 03:40 PM
You're just saying that to keep me away.

"or Ireland" haha =)

Yeah, actually I thought the Eiffel Tower was just ugly. I was also very disappointed by my trip to the Tower of London. That was rubbish.
