Help answer this question below.
I really don't think I can remember the very FIRST poem I ever wrote, but when I was in elementary school, I penned this one:
Mary had a little lamb,
The doctor was surprised,
But when Old MacDonald had a farm,
He REALLY opened his eyes!

Word for word, even though it was grade school. I'd never put it in a public forum though.
second grade
thunder and lighting
the dark heavy clouds
it starts to rain
the sunsets bright
now its time to say good night
Here come I to spend a penny
I started life as Jill
And now folks call me Lenny.
I think this was my first:
Lions
Lions are so sleek,
So graceful.
Like they’re dancing,
In a ballet play.
So quietly,
Hiding.
He pounces!
Hardly ever misses.
That is the way it is.
Nature is so fine.
Reproduction,
Life and death.
That’s the lions way of life.
Lions don’t mean to hurt,
Just to eat.
With their fat little bellies,
And furry little manes.
They balance up nature,
Finer then,
The smartest human,
Could ever understand.
