Like men in most western cultures, French men today wear wedding rings. Like Americans, French men wear them on their left hand to symbolize a connection to the heart, a tradition dating back to the Roman era.Source
only when they are at home with the wife.
If their wife tells them to!
Wedding rings are a custom in France like in many other European countries. Wedding rings are usually "exchanged" at the wedding.
Some people prefer to wear them, others prefer not to wear them.
"A plain gold band is the most popular pattern. Medical personnel commonly wear it because it can be kept very clean. Women usually wear narrow bands, while men wear broader bands. Some couples choose to design their own wedding rings. In France and French-speaking countries, a common pattern consists of three interwoven rings. They stand for the Christian virtues of "faith, hope and love", where "love" equates to that particular type of perfect disinterested love indicated by the ancient Greek word agape. Provocatively, this pattern slides off quickly, because the rings flow over each other."

"In some Western cultures (USA, UK, France), the wedding ring is worn on the left hand. This choice of finger relates to traditions purportedly dating to classical times, from an early usage reportedly referring to the fourth finger of the left hand as containing the vena amoris or "vein of love" or veia d'amore. At least in part due to this tradition, it became acceptable to wear the wedding ring on this finger. By wearing rings on the fourth finger of their left hands, a married couple symbolically declares their eternal love for each other. This has now become a matter of tradition and etiquette in these countries."

Their "wedding ring"is the hoop you see in their nose!
They also wear weding rings like a lot of people in other country.
Wedding rings are very popular for men now, including French men. Singer Michael Buble has one and he is Canadian! Not exactly French...but close. I know that many online sites, including James Allen (http://www.jamesallen.com) have Men's Diamond rings and Men's Carved Rings that are specially designed wedding rings, because it's so common for men to have them now. If you're going to buy a wedding ring, you should definitely buy it online, it saves the hassle, and it's cheaper (up to 50% less in most places.) Plus you and your partner can pick one out together.
NOPE JUST A BERET
I only know one French man and he does wear a wedding ring that he designed. It's very cool actually.
Yes , the french wear the wedding rings at the ring finger of the left hand.

I read somewhere once that it's now acceptable to wear a black dress on your wedding. I would never consider that, would you?
