Depends on what you consider a step. The ancient Romans called 1000 paces a mile. That's one left-right combination. Which sounds suspiciously like 2000 steps.
Depends on your stride
The same number as if you weren't wearing a pedometer.

it depends on how big you steps are but a way to work it out is to use 2 markers spred them out 10 feet and coun how many step it takes to get from one marker to the othe then divd the amount of steps on the pedometer from marker to marker hen work out how many feet are in a mile.
