    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The American Heart Association recommends a daily cholesterol intake lower than 300 milligrams. If you suffer from heart disease, the amount is even lower, under 200 milligrams.

The American Heart Association doesn't know what they're talking about. They are a political group posing as a medical one.
The amount of cholesterol you have in your bloodstream has almost nothing to do with how much cholesterol is in the food you eat. This has been known for a long time. It's too bad our 'experts' seem to be unaware of that.

It should be as minimal as possible. If you are eating right you should even be concerned. However studies show that LDL cholesteral is produced more from eating bad fats such as saturated and trans so stay away from those and eat healthy fats such as olive oil, avocados, nuts Etc..
