I do not see anything offensive or spam-like about your quesstion. Maybe it was done in error and no way to reverse it?
If you do not believe it's spam and/or offensive, then go to the bottom of that page and hit 'feedback' and state your case to the moderators! I have done this a couple of times when I had questions marked as 'duplicate' when they weren't (in my mind!) and the questions were restored!
PS I don't find anything wrong with your question! +5
Here it is again because there is NOTHING offensive about it. Neither is it SPAM!! It's a legitimate question. Some People ????
'Is it too early to chill up the champaign in preperation for the biggest American national party of all time?' +4 because of your injustice.
No not offensive. But you dared to post a negative question about the Great Obama. That is why is was "offensive" Now if it was about a republican countdown then it would have been a "thoughtful question"

1) Well, what do you think if someone asked a question like:
"Is it too early to chill up the Champagne in preparation for the biggest party in the history of Answerbag? The day where "Death Panel litigant" will finally be banned?"
Okay, in that case there would also be a personal attack on a member, which is a big no-no.
On the other hand, Obama supporters, which should actually be about more than the half of American people, could easily feel offended by that question.
2) Even if it is accompanied by an opinion question, the whole idea of the question is actually to point at a specific link. In this sense, it could be considered spamming.
"Spam flags are typically approved when it is obvious that someone is trying to promote a product or a website through posting a question or answer. If a website is posted in relation to a genuine question, the flag will be rejected and the question kept active. Similarly, an answer can contain a website if it directly addresses the question, but if the same link is submitted multiple times, or links to a spam site, the answer will be considered spam and the answer will be removed."

3) However, if you consider that the question has been wrongly rejected, I strongly suggest that you make a feedback to the staff by using the "Feedback" link at the bottom of the page.
Appeal to the people in any form to contest the decisions of the moderators is to be avoided.
Answerbag is not direct democracy, it is a moderated, proprietary site.
"While we know it's tempting to fight back if you feel you've been attacked, the best way to stay out of the penalty box is to report, don't react. Send a message via feedback to site administrators explaining the situation, and we'll review it and take appropriate action."

It is spam because it points to a website with a one-sided view. It would have been spam if a similar question pointed to a website counting down to the end of the previous President's term of office - so it isn't spam because it's about politics, but because it's a blatant advert.
how do u get points in answerbag?
