My son was the one who suggested I check AB out Last year I experienced some very dark times. I knew that my friends would be available 24/7 since we are all over the world and someone is awake and available at all times. That's it. It kinda saved my mental life for awhile. I owe it much and those who helped more than that! :)

When I found Answerbag things in my life were pretty desperate. I was frightened and did not know what I could do or who to talk to. I could not show my fear to my Husband or Family. I had to pretend I was confident and looking to the future. The people on Answerbag helped me through a very tough time.

We all shoot the bull on AB but once in a while your knowledge will help someone. I feel good today because last night I may have helped save a pet. It's a good feeling.

It had affected me positively because it is fun, I have learned new things, and I am occasionally able to help others. On the negative side, sometimes I don't get things done (like housework) or stay up to late because I am ABing. However, I can't say for certain that those things would have gotten done or I would have gone to bed early without AB, so I don't dwell on it.
