Are you planning a trip to India,then? Goa has long been a liberally-minded hippy-like paradise for beach lovers. Otherwise I would suggest getting off the beaten track in Pondicherry,or visit the beautiful and isolated Andaman Islands. India enjoys an extremely hot climate for most of the year and sadhus and holy men strip down to their waist shawls and are deeply suntanned. Some beaches are even popularising surfing now after an American guy started a Surfing Club.
