The bit where the red car breaks down and Basil is hitting it with a branch.

Or

The Nazi walk.

Or

The mouse sticking it's head out of the biscuit tin.

Or

Ok, I don't think there is a bad bit in it!

In the episode 'Communication Problems' a deaf old guest called Mrs Richards is complaining about her room and asking for the manager. Manuel tries to explain that the man standing next to her, Mr Fawlty, is the manager, and she responds 'Faulty? What's wrong with him?'

That whole episode is possibly my favourite, due to Joan Sanderson's brilliant performance.

I found them all very funny and laugh my way through them all. They were the cutting edge of comedy.
One I can remember is when Manuel had a pet hamster, and that week the health inspector was coming to Fawlty Towers.Basil freaked out and told him to get rid of it,so he hid it in the storage room. When the inspector came, and was eating at the restaurant it escaped.A funny part was when the desert cart came around and the lid taken off the hamsters head popped out.

When the moose head is sitting on the desk and Manuel is behind the desk. The Major comes into the lobby and he thinks the moose is talking to him and he has a conversation with it. I also liked the way the letters were re-arranged every week to make new words from outdoor sign Fawlty Towers.... watery fowls, farty towels and flowery twats.

been so long...well, wasn't there one where Basil was denying the phone worked and it rings? anyway, it was one of MANY moments where he just stood there, ramrod straight but quivering inside, 2 seconds from apoplexy, vehemently and ridiculously denying the stone obvious.
I loved the show, but my blood pressure always went up while watching it!
