Help answer this question below.

What could be the cause of bleeding during sex, painful periods and frequent midcycle spotting? I am a little worried, I went to the doctor last week and am going for tests in a couple days but he has gotten me scared....

I am no expert, but perhaps you have a hormone imbalance? I know I get very painful cramps when that happens [I take an herbal remedy, but you may need birth control?]

- I am on birth control now, the painful periods have been not so bad since i have started them... but it still hurts...

- Perhaps the brith control you are on is not the correct dosage for you.
  
  Could also be some kind of inflammation. Didn't the Doc give you any ideas about what might be wrong?
