I am afraid not, that's a lot to lose in a month. If you weigh 400 lbs then I think it's possible.

If you weigh a whole lot, it's possible, but it requires more exercise than you are probably willing to do. Have you ever watched The Biggest Loser weight loss show? That's the most likely way to do it, but even then, once you lose weight the first week, almost no body loses it the second week.
In addition to this, if you quit eating, your body goes into starvation mode and will cause you absorb more calories from whatever you eat.

It would be more healthy to lose weight slowly so you don't end up with health issues from not getting the proper nutrition. Good Luck to you! :-)

Not without jeapordizing your health. And when you take off weight too rapidly, your body goes into "starvation mode" and becomes more efficient at converting food to calories. This continues even after you come off of your crash diet, so that you regain weight even faster. A much better way is to alter your diet by cutting back on sugars, fats and carbohydrates, exercise strenuously at least three times per week for 30 minutes each time, and take weight off more slowly, but in a more effective and longer-lasting way.

Anything averaging over 3 pounds per week is generally not possible. Burning fat involves complex chemical processes which the body needs time to perform.

You might be able to but you'd be losing a lot of muscle along with it. It's only safe to lose about 2 lbs a week after the first week. And you need to be working out at the same time because it's muscle that determines your metabolism. The more you have . . . the stronger your metabolism. Then when you quit dieting, if you aren't working out . . . anything you gain goes directly to fat. These things happen to all of us even though we know better. :(

Answer 10 out of 10

Liposuction will do it. Unless you are severely obese, no other method will work. If you starve yourself, your body will burn less calories by going into starvation mode. You will seriously screw up your metabolism.

In order to lose 30 lbs in a month, you have to consume 105,000 (3500 calories per pound of fat) less than you burn off. If you reduce your calorie intake that much that quickly, you will be in some serious medical trouble.
