  • It probably depends on whether a couple is engaging in sex to procreate, for strengthening mental and physical health, or for sport. Procreation may result in additional planning when a couple wants to plan a pregnancy for delivery of the baby in a certain month or even for a specific date. A number of heterosexual couples have weighed heavily on birth charts since the ancient civilizations first introduced the alignment of planetary bodies as an important factor guiding human behavior. The belief here is in the accuracy of these charts. There are other personal and non-personal matters that concern couples, such as, temperature, frame of mind, season, and event. The invention of the air conditioner largely put an end to temperature-based conception. In the 20th and the 21st century, event-based conception and birth appears to be most statistically meaningful resulting in a global Boomer generation following WWII. Blackouts and economic conditions -- especially unemployment -- have often triggered a specific increase in the number of births. Years ago, motherhood was the most important function of the average housewife, with a mother typically giving birth to 10 children before menopause left them sterile with between 50% and 80% of all children surviving to reach adulthoodd. Today, economic conditions along with advancements in medicine have reduced the role of motherhood, resulting in a surgence of contraception, unwanted pregnancies, and abortion while expanding sexuality concerns for senior members of society. Ways of answering this question are vastly different than they were 50 and 100 years ago. Today's sexuality is not so much about males achieving copulation or women carrying a bsby to birth, but rather the quality and quantity of intimacy shared between consenting adults of all ages, sexual orientations, and a complex assorment of styles and trends that seem to fluctuate with societal and political shifts. Ever since the advent of television, sexual trends have been influened larely by the media. During the 1950s, "I Love Lucy" was one show that resulted in a surge of pregnancies. During the 1990s, it was first learned that Lucille Ball's real life pregnancy had been more responible for the increase in in births across the U.S., and not that of her television character. TV's "Will and Grace" did not cause a surge in homosexuality that right-wing advocates anticipated, but it reportedly had a great impact on white-collar heterosexual males and their understanding of woman and gay men. Late night TV had perhaps the most overwhelming influence on American sexuality as many modified their sex practices around these TV program. Still, the computer has scrambled up sexuality in the western culture more than any other invention in the history of the world. Before ccmputers and the Internet, sex was largely limited to the physical presence of two individuals who met one another in a social situation. Parents, friends, and the passive media had a greater influence on an individual's sexual conquests. Interactive media is dramatically transforming sexuality into a form of communication. It is making questions like this one virtually obsolete as more people have far greater access to sex-on-demand across a larger geographic area. It is becoming easier to have sex with someone than it is to develop a close and long-lasting relationship. This is evident specifically in the gay community where the computer has become the most essential tool for meeting sexual partners. In 2008, a sizable number of gay California voters favored the ban on same-sex marriage without comprehending the significance of marriage to the future of gay America. Many of these voters were swayed by recent threats to gay chatrooms. In the not-to-distant future, anthropomoric robots just might forever change the face of marriage completly for all sexual orientations as sex with a human-like machine may become the most desirable partnership. Imagine! A sexual partner who shares all your fantasies and interests any time you want it without the fear of HIV/AIDS or any STD.. entertainment
