It depends. If he is active in the church he knows his standards he :
a: shouldn't be dating exclusively any one person. He should be going on group dates and enjoying meeting a variety of new people.
B: His should also be preparing to go on his mission which would be in about a year when he turns 18. By dating someone older and exclusive could put him in situations that might take him in a different direction.

I don't see what the age has to do with it, but I suppose that would be considered innapropriate by the other mormons because you are dating a non-believer.

not really. the only thing that will be a issue is the Non-Mormon part. Wont go to far if it stays that way. Also depends on the situations the girl puts him in that he normally wouldnt be in.

There is nothing wrong with that, as long as there is not pressure from his family or Mormon peers. When people are that age, they don't operate individually -- there are still a lot of people/organisations who have a say over them.

yes dating a nonmormon girl goes against the advice of the church. marrying a nonmormon girl prevents him from having a temple marriage.
personaly if anyone seriously believes their religion I fail to see how they could seriously date someone of a different faith. then again I don't see why people will go exclusive with someone they do not intend to have a perminent relationship with.
