In the southeastern US, usually mid to late November. My dad is somewhat into deer hunting and he helped to hunt a deer on November 22 one year recently.

When hunting what game is a 30-cartridge magazine useful? Is a deer with 30 bullets in it even edible? Who digs out the bullets?
