No I would not. Politics is not a "profession" that I would want my son to experience. Being a United States citizen is all the politics we need to know... many politicians are corrupt and put self-interest ahead of public interest. He wouldn't last long in such an environment. Being among deceitful liars whose main goal is to promote their "johns" since most of them are nothing more than prostitutes is not something I would wish on anyone :)

First question, is your child male or female? if your child is male and straight edge absolutely. If he is good looking, even better. However, if your child is a female, absolutely not. I live in the capitol of Illinois, which as we all know isn't on the top of the political charts, however it is and always has been an extremly important political influence on our country. That said, any young attractive female getting involved with politics is a MISTAKE. I mean unless your father is a senator, or a congrssman then by all means take advantage of what is handed to you. In my town, its not what you know, but who you know that can make your dreams come true. However, being a beautiful female you must be careful. I may be blabbing about things that dont matter to the average girl that has all the brains (and no looks) to make it happen for the "real world," however i'm ganna break it down for all you young women starting your life with all these powerful men....and strange women...being your mentors into the future life of politics. Well, I'm the girl all the men love and all the women hate. But I'm ganna be real, because you can't judge a book by its cover, (and i'm the perfect example). Not all, but most politicians are dirty. They are cocky, make more money than they deserve. But, down to the nitty gritty, they cheat. ALL OF THEM. I know because i used to be a bartendar at one of thier late night spots. I babble in the morning....let me knw if you want more advice.
