• Thanks for that information. Something similar is happening to people who go online trying to get "Canadian Pharmacies", who sell the same drugs you buy in the USA at prices that are significantly lower. The problem is that those "Canadian Pharmacies" are not really Canadian.....once you go online you may be directed to somewhere in Asia or Africa, and who knows what kind of stuff you are buying. Those "Cialis" that are purchased, that are supposed to be "soft" and dissolve in your mouth, taste like candy coated grain, maybe corn or rice!....anyway....I was a sucker, and I am not the only victim.

• The fake drugs from China is one of the biggest health threats we are facing in India. They pack is so fine that by looking at the batch nos and expiration dates we can't just make out. So now everytime I buy my diabetic medicine (I buy for 60 days use at a time) from regular pharmacy, I contact the manufacturers and confirm that the batch nos and expiration dates in my purchase is really manufactured by them in India. I may have to make some 10 long distance calls for the purpose, but I think it is worth it as I can't risk spurious medicine.
  That the fake drugs made in China with Indian labels are finding their way into other countries too is news to me. Some international action is needed to check the menace. This link will give some idea of the magnitude of the problem:

• Oh my.... I clicked on the link you posted, and when I saw the picture of the pills that came out of that box.... I just can tell that they look quite eerily similar to the ten foil pack of "Cialis" that I got online....like if they all came from the same factory. I still have one pill left....I think it is going to be flushed down my toilet.

• We have those "male enhancement" and "better sex, macho power, love intensity" products and "female pleasure intensifier" pills being sold at gas stations and even local drug stores (I find that despicable, they should project honesty regarding health products). They are sold "over the counter". What I was trying to get is a "generic" version of prescription "Cialis" that was supposed to be made in India because they don't have to follow trademark and licensing regulations imposed by the FDA. Once those regulations are lifted, then those pills can be made by other manufacturers at significantly lower prices. That's the case with Ambien, Xanax, Wellbutrin XL and other medications I have been prescribed. They were very expensive, but are now sold at cheaper prices. Cialis costs between $14.00 and $17.00 at local pharmacies. That "generic" one was supposed to cost $3.00 each! What a fool....I went for that and got nailed!

• I know. But, they say that those "rights" are only imposed in the USA. Other foreign manufacturers, not connected with USA pharmaceuticals and the US Government may copy the formula and start making them at a low price because they never paid for the extremely expensive research (including testing on animals ....I hate that), that is required to produce a new and safe drug.
  The problem is that because it is not something legal in the USA....there is no place to go and complain. It was stupid, and I am $40.00 poorer....

• Honestly, I think each pill had a speck, a tiny fraction of the real Cialis, but not strong enough. No, I haven't filed a complaint because I got what I was trying to get. I would feel like an idiot filing a complain for that. Now....I filed a complaint with my credit card company, got my card canceled and got a new number when I placed an online order for one bottle of Omega 3 pills that were recommended by my Doctor....and I saw a $100.00 "shipping charge". After several tries, I was able to cancel the order. The person at the "Customer Service" area of that website told me that I was being charged $100.00 because those pills were being sent via "Fedex". FEDEX FROM WHERE, FROM THE MOON?!!!!! A hundred dollars for a tiny bottle of pills....What a ripoff....
