    Your fingernails are made of a substance called keratin which is an extremely hard protein. This same substance is also found in hair, skin, hooves, horns and teeth. +2

    Nails are Keratin. Not sure about hair. I think it's along the lines of some sort of nutrient your body doesn't need and it comes out as hair. Or something ridiculously similar......
