    Sorry, I still don't have one and it wouldn't do us much good most places we're at because we don't get reception. Only in town do they work or about 1 mile from our house on a certain corner lol!

    47... the company pays for it since I'm in IT (even though it's a waste of money on me and the other relatively new guy). I actually come out $30 ahead every month, since I got the cheapest plan. I hate feeling always reachable.

    54 and I got it free on Freecycle. Put it on a prepaid plan and only gave the number to 3 people.

    I resisted getting one. Then one day in about 2002 I was very late to a meeting due to a bad traffic jam, without any way to let the office know.

    I had a cell phone the next week.

    I also held out against the BlackBerry for 2 years, until a co-worker pointed out that using this tool, you can "work from home" on an occasional day, answering email, without having to take a vacation day.

    18. I didnt tell my parents that I was going to be home late and they flipped and decided it was time for me to get a cell. And now I'm addicted to my cell. FYI, my friend loves Superman. He's pretty fricken cool.

    LOL I was about 38. I remember it was a HUGE Motorola, and could only be used in the car with a window antenna. Weighed a ton. I can't remember the year however.?? But I got one of the first ones and have had one ever since. I change phones about every year.

    I don't remember, but I do know I was in high school. I used to hate cell phones when they first came out, I found them annoying. Then I realized I needed to have one, as its necessary.
