Help answer this question below.
When the thugs and punks turn in their guns.. expect the law abiding gun owners to turn in theirs.. so.. I guess never.
If sanity prevails, never.
There is a good reason for allowing such.
For much the same reason that there is a mandatory seat belt and motorcycle helmet law.
Stupidity. It's something you can bank on.
Many anti-Federalists can be expected to go out of their way to defy Federal Laws. Thus organs available for donation have skyrocketed since the Feds made the helmet/seatbelt laws mandatory.
The Gun Whackjobs can be expected to hoard guns, ammo, gunpowder, and other incendiary explosives, massively and more than likely- unsafely. Because after all, such 'storage rules' smack of governmental interference.
Thus, making more likely a spectacular chlorinating of the gene pool.
When the liberals decide to go ahead and throw out the second amendment all together. How could the founders expect the citizens to defend themselves against a tyrannical government? Because they were brilliant!
Second Amendment:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

You're reading When will right wing militia's in America be outlawed? How can successive governments let groups stockpile guns and explosives in their own country and not make it illegal to be a member of such an organisation?

Keeping a gun in your own home to protect you and your family is something I don't have a problem with. It is these groups of armed people who set up a compound and store lots of guns and other weapons and spout right wing propaganda that I do not see any action being taken to break them up.

They can't be broken up. They aren't breaking any laws. Clinton tried that sort of thing and he will always have the innocent murders or whole families hanging over his head. Remember the disaster at Waco?
.
You can spout any kind of political views you wish, whether it is right wing or left wing, and can own as many weapons as you wish too. That is the way we do it in America.

I feel you spooner .. truly, however this issue has so many sides that to rule in favor of one area (in which we might all agree) it will backlash in another area that would leave us vulnerable to those we wish to disarm.
