You're reading I've just finished up Depo-Provera and started on a pill contraceptive(Estrostep)I didn't have a period during the Depo-I've heard that's common-but I just tested positive on a home test, and I wonder if the contraceptive caused a false positive.Possible?

Not to be offending, but do you know some official location where I can find this information? I thought the same thing, but it seems to be a common knowledge type thing, because I can not seem to find any real information to verify the causation of a false positive pregnancy test by a contraceptive.

Look in the information sheet that came with your birth control package. It may give you more information about the topic there. If not I would still recomend contacting the physician who wrote the prescription.
