Nope. I have my daily routine my friend. First thing is to respond to those who have commented on my answers or answered my questions from the prior day. While I am away from AB or I'm asleep many of you around the world are up and about and busy on AB. That usually takes a few hours. Next I alternate between asking questions and answering my friends' questions. If there is still time I will answer any "new arrivals" that interest me. Some days I find very few and other days I find a lot! :) ((hugs))

No. I just try to answer questions that interest me regardless of how popular it is.

No, not really, especially not as an exercise. My routine is more like RosieGHM Jetpacker's. First I check for responses to my questions, answers and comments, and respond to them as appropriate. Next I check for new activity from my friends and respond to them if I think I have anything worthwhile to contribute. After that I start reading over the unanswered questions and answer the ones that interest me. I interject a question of my own whenever one occurs to me.

Yes, but sometimes I see others that interest me more. So, I answer one of those.

How often do you ask a question about a specific thing and receive some responses that are perfect(aarrgghh!) examples of it? Useful?

Mostly they don't appeal to me. I think you're very brave to respond. As far as points, I think you know I'd like AB to eliminate points altogether. The competition for points/levels/titles is sometimes very ugly...something we can do without very nicely, dontcha think? Happy Friday Tel! :) ((hugs))
