Help answer this question below.

Can one dies from sleep apnea?? Cause i think i got that last night.. Suddenly it was hard for me to breathe..

    It is extremely rare that an adult has sleep apnea bad enough that it wouldn't wake them before they died from asphyxiation. This is however fairly common in new born babies. You may have just had anxiety in your sleep due to a bad dream. Anxiety attacks in some people make it feel like someone is sitting on your chest which in turn makes you panic more. If this persists I would definitely see a doctor about it and maybe go through a couple of sleep trials.

    You can't die from sleep apnea (in your sleep, that is). Your body would jolt you awake before that could happen. +5

    I'm not sure if you can die, but you do need to go see the Doc so he can tell ya what you need to do to avoid waking up, and disturbing your sleep. Disturbing your sleep is never good, especially for a long period of time.
