There are only 2 reasons I think: 1) You are still emotionally attached and have not yet let go, or 2) You are seeking the comfort of the old routine. If you are still emotionally attached, then you need to determine whether they should be your ex or whether you just have to let time take its course. If you are just clinging to a familiar old routine, then that will fade away very quickly as you establish a new relationship or new pattern within your life without them.
