Big government run by those with a vested interest in destroying America- yes.

I have noticed over the years that the number of Americans who are skeptical of big government has gotten smaller. The Country will implode when this group reaches less than 50% of the voting populace.

A lot of them are. There hasn't been a lot of actions we could really have faith in from the government in general for quite some time. They have every right to be skeptical. But those who accuse the big government of destroying America are only partially correct. There are people in government positions that do have the best interests of the people at heart. They just haven't been given a say in the matter.

I think that the thirty something approval rating of the Congress says alot. The unfortunate thing is that the people who are skepticle don't question the government. Sometimes it's difficult to ask questions when you have a representative like Shiela Jackson-Lee. It seems like you need a big press conference with a lot of cameras to get her attention.
