Dry sand is kind of difficult, and can burn your feet when it's hot. Wet sand can be pretty solid.

My feet and theigh muscles ache if I were to walk on beach sand barefoot.
So I do the walking on the water's edge where the sand is firm.

If the sand is kinda wet, it feels good. If it's dry and hot, it can burn your feet.

It feels like you are walking on grainy, soft, warm earth. It feels pretty good. The sand massages your feet, but don't walk on it when it's too hot outside or you will burn your feet!

If you walk fast on it you will feel your legs muscles get tight, if you run o it must go to ocean edge where the sansd is not dry. To answer the question though it feels wierd, like your standing on smething thats not solid like cement..

Beach sand, especially wet is relaxing to the feet. Desert sand is tiring as it makes walking harder' especially if you're carrying equipment. +4 Nunya

So wonderful its a kind of a squishy sensation. I love it. Its hard to run in. But walking is so great, especially when you get to the shore where it is wet and you can make footprints too.
