No, they are more likely to become more similar. Many American words are now being used by English people, and this will probably continue with the infuence of TV and films.

Yes, and many famous pop groups are from the UK. If they sing in British English, it helps spread British English. Mabe all English will be standardized globaly somehwere in the future.
