I have never tasted good venison. Long ago I decided I wouldn't hunt anything I wasn't willing to eat...and I just don't like venison. So my answer is "no" and that's the reason. I know, it has to be cared for properly in the field and has to be cooked properly...but so far, nobody's (including me) has been able to produce venison that I can enjoy. Elk, caribou, moose...all I have hunted, killed and eaten and enjoyed. Just not deer.

When hunting what game is a 30-cartridge magazine useful? Is a deer with 30 bullets in it even edible? Who digs out the bullets?
