When I'm home alone, my radio in my room turns to static when my back is to it. Same for the one in my living room unless my hands on it. Does that happen to anyone else?

It happens to me on my radio in my office at work. The closer I get, the less static there is. When my hand's actually touching it, it's crystal clear. Odd.
