What are your thougts on the current recession that we are in?

Right now my thoughts are that I wish I had bought more stock.

I think that, given the improvements in this country, that we are long past a recession and into a depression. My parents LIVED through the Great Depression. I remember hearing their stories, firsthand. Not tales told from them to parents to me. Not from reading stories online or in books. From those that experienced it. And given the advances in this country, and where we are right now, we are definitely in a depression. If you want to get technical, it is worse than the great depression. You can cite soup lines and everything that was going on then, look at now. NO ONE should be homeless because there is no work. NO ONE should be living in vehicles with entire families because they have nowhere else to go. NO ONE should be having to take in family member after family member because they need help to survive.

well here in AUSTRALIA,we have made a good recovery ,and some of that is due to the stimulus packages the government put in place there were 2 it helped to boost the economy and keep employment going and now they will slowly roll back these measures and we are in quite good shape.and it may not be quite over but it is looking better.
