Yes. Back in the 1960s or 70s, I was living in Minnieapplepiss MN, and I wrote a letter to then-Sen. Hubert H. Humphrey. Not only did I get a reply from the good senator, the reply was HAND-WRITTEN by him. I was dumbfounded by the fact that he not only answered my letter, but did so in his own handwriting. What an awesome guy he was! You won't find too many politicians like him in the 21 Century, THAT is for sure! I wish I still had that letter, but over the years, moving to so many different locales, it just got misplaced, and I am so sorry... +5
