The cardboard box on the back of my bike (to stop it falling apart if it gets wet). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Duct tape also works very well to hold together rectangles of styrofoam insulation to make a cover for an air-conditioner in the winter.

My sis has inflatable lawn ornaments, the zipper was broken on one and letting all the air out, so I duct taped it and it works just fine.
