Help answer this question below.
No, not at all. Luckily though, I had a stepfather who more than made up for my real father's shortcomings, so I was never without two decent parents.
Yes he did. His loss was the greatest of my life. He died much too young.
My dad wasn't and isn't to this day capable of showing love for anyone, including my mom.
rarely ever, sometimes when i was a very young child he was nice to me, but by the time i reached ten years old he hated me...
If so he is not very good at it "/
No - I did not need his love
Not really, because my dad doesn't show emotion. With that said he was a great father, one of the best, even if he didn't hug his children and talk about his feelings.
my dad loved me just as much as my mom did, we were a very loving family, until he passed away my first year of highschool... now were just all messed up :(
Yes, both my Dad and Mom did. Love AND pride. Ours was/is a very loving family...and were very demonstrative about it.
Many have both admired and envied us. And many have copied us.

on holidays
My dad showed everyone enormous love.
Yes, even when he lived 18hrs away I still saw him at least once a month. And my stepfather, went to school full time and worked tons of overtime so my mom could stay home with us kids. I have awesome father figures in my life.
ofcourse he did and he still does :) and i thankyou god everyday for that.
Yup. It was more through his actions than anything else. He's definitely a man of his word.
No
Sadly I have never met my father
I am kind of happy though that this unfortunate event happened because I might not be the sociopath I am today if I actually had a hero
Thanks dad :)
Yes, in his own inimitable style.
Not really, dont get me wrong, he is my hero. He has done so many things in his life. But he isnt one to spend his time with family or freinds. So no hes kind of a robot..
he did and he does... my daddy is the greatest and my father is even better

Yes he was a very patient kind man.+5
yes, he certainly did.
Yes.
Yes. My father was tough when I was growing up but he always showed love for me and my brother, and my mother. The word love is an understatement compared to everything he did.
he did once, i think
In this day and age of families ending up splitsville one is lucky just to have a father around. Even the ones who want to raise the kids get the deck stacked against them by the courts, which are also pretty unconditional about going after the money.
I believe the phrase that best describes such modern fatherhood is "buying but not getting".
More than my mother did. He was my hero when I was younger. =)
Not much. But neither was he indifferent. A good guy, in a quiet sort of way.
Yes. We never had the conventional father-daughter relationship, there were things missing and lacking, but there was even more wonderful times and genuine friendship. I never questioned my dad's love for me. :)
Yes he did.
I never met my biological father, as im the offspring of rape. My step dad tries to, but we butt-heads consatntly, so it doesnt always work out. But when we are in agreement, things are just peachy.
Yes. I always knew I was loved, and still do, even though I'm a father now myself.
None and he never ever said it. I suspect my mother was the only person he ever loved and he treated her terribly.
yes he did he had a difficult life and died at 60 he had ms hope he is happy now and looking down at me and proud of me and my sisters
He's showed lots of love and still does.
how come when my dad watches comedy movies with me he sits and laughs his ass of but then says their stupid. why? its so annoying.
