Yes, twice. Once at the San francisco Pier ( this was an active sub that had just docked) and the second time inside the German submarine at the Chicago museum. Both were a treat! But very closed in and confined...

When I was a kid, my step dad was in the Navy and he worked on a fast attack nuclear powered sub. When they would come into port, they would let the kids and families go on. My favorite part was the periscope. He had to pick me up so I could reach it, but it was friggin' cool!

..I have Nunya...don't remember the type of tank it was but it was amazing..knowing our people sit in that little space and fight wars....just blows me away, nothing but respect for our military...

I've been inside a tank once but it was a retired one at a museum. I've also been in the cockpit of an operational RAF Harrier, at an air show.
