Thanks + 6 Actually i use my phone to check my email and log into the internet to send messages back. Also my plan includes one price to log into the internet each month ( I think it is 5 USD extra). Also, I work on a world wide team and have business contacts throughout the world because of it. We keep ourselves up to date on opportunites that we know of that we can bid on. Sometimes we work as a group to bid on these, even though we are in multiple countries ( Singapore, Europe, Hong Kong, Manila). We use Wap applications to exchange data to make the changes that much quicker and we can program 24 hours a day since we can hand off projects to other areas of the world. To me it is not expensive, just good business. I think we will see more of this in the future as businesses truely become global.

Actually if you are traveling somewhere and have some free time, it can actually keep you up to date on what is going on and provide entertainmnet if you get bored.

Totally agree calicorey. If I were traveling, I would definitely be able to justify the cost of one.
