Help answer this question below.

My ex was my 1st love & is still in love w/me & i do too but more just the memories of us being happy together, b/he's not the same person I fell in love with. Do i just need to lethim go completely b/c i still want him n my life i just dnt want 2hurt him

    Girl, listen up!

    You think it's fair upon your ex to just be friends? if he still is in love with you?

    You should tell him what you wrote here, that he is no longer the person he was, maybe try work it out? if not then you have to give the boy time to recover and heal himself, so you need to let go completely and tell him it's over and out. So he doesnt go around hoping you to come back.

    Lastly maybe after some months he may be recovered and then if you still want him as friend, then it's your time.
