...and hippos, narwhals, and walruses! But seriously, I don't mind if someone uses ivory that already exists and hasn't been recently harvested. I have some ivory scrimshaw myself. What does bother me, is the fact that people STILL poach animals to obtain it. That is wrong.

Unfortunately there seems to be no effective way to stop poaching, so yes. I'd have no objection to ivory from animals that died of natural causes though.

Nope, the other animals that have ivory should wear it as well, humans shouldn't.

What pisses me off is when narwhals kill walruses and sell their ivory to elephants. Bastards.
