    My father and I didn't really "dance" at my wedding but we didn't want a tear jerker emotional song because that isn't the kind of relationship we have. So we played "I Like Beer" by Tom T Hall. Instead of there being "not a dry eye in the house" we had all smiles and roars of laughter.
    But I do love "I Loved Her First" great song for daddy/daughter dance.

    You could go against tradition and do something upbeat about a father's love: "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder.

    You could get all sappy with Stevie Nicks, "Landslide".

    I loved her first. This is a relativly new country song and the name of the singer escapes me at the moment but it is a tear jerker song!!
