Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 56 in. RCA projection t.v.It's about 8 years old.
There is no pic or sound when you turn it on,just a shish
noise.But.....if you play with the buttons long enough,it will come on for a while.Any one know what's going on?

sounds to me like an antena problem, or input
