Pilots of planes and helicopters are worried about being distracted or blinded by people on the ground using hand-held lasers. What are your thoughts on this, and the suggestion that it will lead to increasing reliance on robotic autopilots?

    I think if we catch one of these "people", they go to jail for a year. Caught a second time, life without the possibility of parole.

    well they have caught people in our country using them it is an offence to sell them here and i no they can still get them ,but i think people feel safer with human pilot ,just my thoughts.

    It is worrying, when i first heard of it, i thought it may have been some Islamic Terrorist plot or something, but on the news it looked like some stupid Chav.

    People who get caught doing it, should get the book thrown at them, as it could cause mass death and injury, absolute fools.
