Like me, you have an internal voltage regulator.
Everything we have tried has not solved the problem.
Next thing we are trying is to disconnect the neg battery cable and run a test light from the disconnected cable to the neg terminal on the battery.
If the light comes on there is a short. Then start removing fuses until the light goes out. That circut will be the short.

You're reading I replaced the alternator twice and the battery once in my 1983 nissan pickup truck and it still won't charge the battery what could be the problem?
