Our society has yet to define what 'professional' dress is for women as tightly as the definition exists for men. +5
Why don't they work as many hours per day? Why don't they work as many days per year? Why often don't they have to meet the same physical requirements? When you ask them a question at Home Depot about electrical, plumbing, HVAC, why are they assigned to the department if they always have to refer you to a male employee? Etc, etc, etc.
If you mean like low necks, sleeveless etc, then I would have to agree with you.
Some do, but who the heck wants to.
Where I work, women dress very professionally -- suits when appropriate or business casual.
Because we like to be comfortable, however we do spend more time getting ready then men.
B/C men can wear the same suit w/ a different shirt every day & nobody would notice. If women did, we'd notice. Us ladies can't afford enough suits to not have to rotate very often. When I worked, I always looked professional, just maybe not as much as my male counterpart who's wearing a suit & tie.
