  • you have to be 18 years old to get a piercing. They only way you can hide it is to take it out which you can't do with a new piercing or it will close. They do sell clear colored studs but they can still be seen up close.
  • Getting the piercing done "in secret" should be easy - just go get it done and don't tell anyone......It is going to be a little difficult to hide a piercing in your face though! Your parents may be completely opposed, they may just be voicing a different opinion to yours but unless you listen to them and talk rationally and with maturity about why you want the piercing you will never know. If you are old enough to get the piercing without their permission you shold be old enough to discuss it with them. They are probably concerned about the steroetypical prejudice you may have to deal with when you have visible piercings - for example, many employers will not give a job to someone who has a metal studded face; especially if there is any element of customer service involved. Talk to your parents - you may have to agree to disagree but they will appreciate your maturity in discussing rather than throwing your toys around and screaming "not fair" then creeping off and getting the piercing secretly!
  • Getting it secretly pierced will be very easy, if you're underage then you will just go to any non-reputable studio willing to break the law. Those willing to break the law are clearly not the best and I wouldn't want them piercing my face. Hiding a Monroe from your parents will be impossible - unless you can not see them for however long before you are able to take the piercing out (a couple of months, minimum, before you can change the stud to a smaller, but still visible, one... after that I believe you will need another few months before you can take it out for any length of time - otherwise you risk infection), and then once you can take it out the piercing will still be visible in your face.
